Smooth Sailing - Ethical Marquee Hire for the National Schools' Regatta

The summer Jubilee Events season is nearly drawing to a close. We've been grateful to partner with even more people to create life-changing jobs!
Jubilee Events is an ethical marquee hire company that provides marquees and furniture across the East Midlands. Whilst this normally involves wedding celebrations and corporate events, this year we had the opportunity to set up our marquees for the National Schools' Regatta. We partnered with two of the schools, St Edward's Oxford and Shiplake College to help set up the lakeside "Regatta Village".
Our team was up and out early on the Thursday to set up at the beautiful Holme Pierrepoint, just a 10 minute drive from Nottingham city centre (and our warehouse!).
Our van beside the water, jam packed with the marquee equipment and furniture for the event.
Our team's first task of the morning was setting up the 9x12m unlined marquee one of the schools. Whilst our linings give the marquee a luxurious feel, the marquee still looks and clean and professional without them.
Alongside this, we provided:
48 chairs
4 5ft round tables
4 trestle tables
After a lunch break with picturesque views, the team were quickly back to work setting up the second marquee for the event. This included our:
6x12m unlined marquee
6 trestle tables
30 chairs
The set up was swift and professional, and the event was a great success on the weekend. One passer-by remarked on how great our company and service delivery was, and that he wanted get us to set up his marquee for the following year!
A massive thanks to both schools who hired our services. This partnership provided a day of real Living Wage work for our team members, and a chance to explore a new venue.
